Stop Learning, Start Knowing

Creativity Unzipped Cover

You have learned enough. You do not need another how-to book. Your research is done, for the time being, and it is time now to make something of what you know. The process of enlightenment is one of subtraction, not addition, writes mystic Meister Eckhart. To become luminous, let go of the darkness, let go of your negative beliefs. Luminous is our natural state. We are children of the light, born from exploding stars and supernovae.
Carl Sagan wrote in Cosmos, “The nitrogen in our DNA, the calcium in our teeth, the iron in our blood, the carbon in our apple pies were made in the interiors of collapsing stars. We are made of starstuff.” Our actual material value is about three dollars’ worth of chemicals, but when you add the worth of our imaginations, our brains and creativity, our value expands exponentially. Our true worth is buried within us, and creativity is the act of mining and harvesting it.
